The Dirty Secret of Traditional China Sourcing Agents
Most "sourcing companies" and trading middlemen claim they provide "free sourcing" or charge minimal commission (e.g. 3%–5%). In reality, they take hidden back-door kickbacks (called huikou 回扣) of 10% to 20% directly from Chinese suppliers.
